1. Pokémon Go Strength of Steel Research & Collection Quests
The Steel-type event is currently active in Pokémon Go, presenting trainers with a range of thrilling opportunities! By completing Timed Research, Field Research, and three Collection Challenges, you can encounter formidable Steel-type Pokémon and enhance your collection with Mega Energy.
Don’t miss out on the triple Catch Stardust, additional Catch XL Candy, and higher chances of obtaining XL Candy, along with the introduction of Shiny Togedemaru. The event also includes the highly awaited Mega Lucario Raid Day.
2. Strength of Steel Timed Research Tasks for Pokémon Go
Ensure you finish the Strength of Steel Timed Research Tasks in Pokémon Go before the deadline of July 30 at 8 pm, local time. You can claim special rewards by completing these tasks between July 25 at 10 am and July 30 at 8 pm.
The Strength of Steel Timed Research set includes six difficult tasks, such as capturing 50 Steel-type Pokémon, evolving 10, and emerging victorious in 3 Raid Battles.
Fortunately, there are numerous Steel-type spawns and Raid Bosses at the event to aid you in achieving success. Refer to the list of tasks and rewards provided.

3. Strength of Steel Field Research Tasks
During the Strength of Steel event, you can spin PokéStops to obtain event-specific Field Research Tasks. These tasks will be available throughout the event period and can also be completed at a later time as long as there is room in your Research Task tab.
Nevertheless, it is worth completing certain tasks during the event, as the rewards earned from encounters can aid in completing the Collection Challenge and fully taking advantage of the event’s perks. The tasks and corresponding rewards are listed below for reference.

Pokémon Go Strength of Steel Collection Challenges
Make sure to catch or evolve the necessary Pokémon and claim your rewards before the event ends on July 30 at 8 pm, local time. Collection Challenges and their rewards are only accessible during the event.
To successfully complete the Strength of Steel event, it is necessary to participate in three Collection Challenges by catching or evolving four Steel-type Pokémon for each challenge. While catching Pokémon such as Magnemite and Aron is relatively simple, evolving others may require more time as a sufficient amount of Candy needs to be accumulated.
1. My Heavy Metal Collection Challenge
To successfully complete the Heavy Metal Collection Challenge, make sure to do so by July 30th at 8 pm in your local time zone. In return, you will receive a generous bundle containing 5000 Stardust, an encounter with Aggron, and a boost of 100 Aggron Mega Energy.
Two of the Pokémon in this challenge can only be obtained through evolution. Therefore, catching them through any other method, including catching Aggron as a Three-Star Raid Boss, will not count towards completing the challenge.
To ensure success, prioritize catching the required Pokémon and gathering sufficient Candy for their evolution. Don’t forget to utilize Pinap Berries to boost your Candy count. Refer to the list below for information on which Pokémon to collect and how to obtain them.

This Ore That Collection Challenge
To earn 5000 Stardust, a Steelix encounter, and 100 Steelix Mega Energy, be sure to finish the ‘This Ore That’ Collection Challenge before 8 pm local time on July 30th.
Keep in mind that there are two Pokémon that can only be acquired through evolution, so it is important to evolve them correctly. The most difficult evolution is that of Magneton into Magnezone, which requires 100 Candy and a Magnetic Lure Module.
To acquire the Magnetic Lure module, complete the Strength of Steel Timed Research or buy it for 180 PokéCoins. Once obtained, simply place the Lure on a PokéStop and evolve Magneton into Magnezone within the Lure’s radius. Below, you can find a list of Pokémon and instructions on how to obtain them.

3. Chrome Catch Collection Challenge
The Chrome Catch Collection Challenge is the concluding event challenge, and it will be open until 8 pm local time on July 30th. Completing this challenge will earn you 5000 Stardust, a chance to encounter Scizor, and 100 Scizor Mega Energy.
Luckily, no Pokémon evolutions are necessary for this challenge. All you have to do is capture the required Pokémon in their natural habitats, raids, or by completing event-specific research tasks.
It is important to note that Skarmory is a infrequently encountered in the wild, therefore players may want to defeat it as a Raid Boss or complete the Strength of Steel Timed Research in order to have a chance at a valuable encounter.
