Centennial Elementary & Sheridan Hills Elementary

All area residents are invited to attend one of our neighborhood elementary schools, which offer excellent full-day kindergarten programs. Richfield Dual Language School

Richfield Dual Language School (RDLS)

RDLS is a free Spanish dual-language immersion magnet school. This dual-language program allows students to become bilingual and bicultural while mastering Spanish and English. Spanish is spoken 90 percent of the instructional day in pre-kindergarten, kindergartenand first-grade classrooms. Newly enrolled students are not required to have a previous background in Spanish.

R-STEM is a free elementary magnet school that focuses on educating students through a science, technology, engineering and math lens. Our Secondary Schools

They may be "secondary" schools, but Richfield Middle School and Richfield High School are second to none.We offer a seven-period day at both our middle school and high school to provide more choice for our students within a school day, and also to provide additional support for those students who need it. Our highly-qualified teaching staff are continuous learners along with our students, seeking new opportunities to learn throughout the school year to provide our students with an inviting and caring environment along with a challenging and rigorous learning environment.

Richfield College Experience Program, or RCEP as its known by, is our alternative learning program for those students for whom a traditional school setting isn't ideal. Through a mix of in-class and hybrid learning environments, a focus on each individual's progress and trajectory, and a warm and positive environment, students have found that RCEP is the exact place they need to be to finish their high school experience, and finish strong.

Our wonderfully diverse secondary schools provide excellent preparation for our students, not only for college and the workforce, but for an increasingly connected global society where we all learn from, and with, one another.

Richfield Middle School

Richfield Middle School (RMS) serves student in grades 6-8, organized into grade-level teams themed around Big 10 Universities.RMS offers a variety of specialized services such as Gifted & Talented, Special Education, DLI (dual language immersion in Spanish), ESL and Reading and Math tier classes.

In addition to the core academics (math, language arts, scienceand social studies), exploratory classes are offered to each student. These opportunities broaden the student's perspective on the world of learning and expose them to new ideas and skills. Exploratory classes also serve to spark student interest in subjects that they may take as electives in high school. RMS exploratory classes include health, physical education, STEM, choir/band/general music, Spanish, art, industrial technology and computer skills.

Richfield High School (RHS) has been selected as a National School of Excellence by the United States Department of Education. RHSis also accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools, as well as the Minnesota State Department of Education. RHS is a comprehensive public four-year high school with a student enrollment of approximately 1100 in grades 9-12. Seventy-three percent of our teaching faculty hold degrees at the Master’s level or beyond. The student body is culturally diverse with students from a variety of different cultures

Richfield College Experience Program (RCEP)

The Richfield College Experience Program (RCEP) is an opportunity to recover credits and expand options for high school students who may need a different environment than that of a traditional high school setting.The goal at RCEP is to offer students the opportunity to learn in a small community where each voice matters, acknowledge prior learning and provide a personalized learning experience tailored to each individual as they work toward graduation.Individuals with consistent attendance and work completion in the first semester will have the opportunity of dual enrollment at Normandale Community College to earn high school and college credit with guidance and support by our school counselor.
