What is a good price for a Disney cruise? ›

The cost of a Disney cruise can vary dramatically based on your needs and sailing preferences. However, you should expect to spend at least $1,000 on a cruise for two passengers. The price goes up from there depending on your cabin selection, trip duration and destination choices, among other options.

And last, these are GREAT if this is your first cruise and you're not quite sure you'll like cruising or not. While I will always vote for the longest sailing your schedule and means allow, to me, a 3 Day Disney Cruise is worth every penny!

If your sail dates are flexible, I suggest looking into booking a cruise during the months of September, October, January or February. These months tend to be less expensive times to sail! Also, you will receive the best price and availability the more in advance you book your cruise.

If you are looking for more or less cruise days, a different cruise port, different vacation dates, or different cruise staterooms, the Disney Cruise prices can go up and down quickly, so tweaking your dates, staterooms, etc can help you find a Disney cruise at a price that is right for your travel budget.

While I've traveled on 3 and 4 night cruises due to budget and time constraints, I find 7 night cruises to be more relaxing. However, I highly recommend the shorter cruises for families that are also traveling to WDW and/or unsure about a cruise vacation. It's a good way to test your sea legs!

Since it's your family's first cruise, I would recommend booking a mid-ship or aft stateroom (in that order). Forward staterooms tend to feel the most motion of the sea and just in case you have anyone prone to seasickness, a strategic location might help lessen those symptoms.

Disney cruise prices do not include Port Adventures, shopping, spa and salon services, onboard photography, nursery babysitting, ship-to-shore phone calls, arcade games, alcoholic beverages, drink packages, and adults-only specialty dining.
