Group Overview[]
The Circle of Needle and Thread consists of five members known members, the majority of them being intermediate members of the organization who seem to have only worked with Circle of Needle and Thread but have also completed a number of assignments. Out of all of them, Beatrix Monroe has been with the organization the longest.[6]
The group as a whole seems to have a certain amount of wariness towards Candela Obscura with the members having issues with how the organization deals with certain situations, the lack of information they are given for assignment despite the trust they put in the organization, and seeing the group as self-righteous.[7][8][9] However, Beatrix Monroe, the most experienced member of circle, says that while Candela as institution might not be immune from its own organizational flaws, she likes to believe that out of all the of the different capitalistic and governmental factions that rule their day-to-day lives, that hopefully they're choosing to work for the one lesser evil.[10]
A common theme the group seems to share are traumas and loss that stem from the Last Great War, and interactions with groups and individuals twisting, misusing, or ignoring magick for their own needs.

History[]
Background[]
The Circle of Needle and Thread seems to find its origins with Nathaniel Trapp, and his investigation into his family's railroad operations and some dark dealings that were happening there a couple months before the events of Assignment #533: Eye for an Eye.[11] While investigating a metro station underneath The Steam Trapp became unintentionally entangled with an investigation begin performed by The Circle of Silver Flame who were investigating a series of attacks. After witnessing a young man be killed by a creature in the metro, Nathaniel tried to escape only to be pursed and caught by the creature before he could reach street level. However, before he could be killed, he was saved by Allison Suarez with her being able to distract the creature long enough for her fellow circle members to arrive and kill it to at the cost of her by transformed horribly by being too close to the creature and being infested by bleed.[12]
Trapp was then led away from the scene before he could give his thanks or check on Allison and given a Candela Obscura pin and an address. Being told if he any questions he could try and receive some answers. The only question he had though was how Allision was and what he could do for her. However, as he never allowed to see her, he joined Candela in hopes of not only making a difference, but also repaying a debt he felt he owed her. Eventually at an unknown point he looped two of the men who served under him in the war into Candela. Those being Sean Finnerty, and Marion Collodi.[13] At some point after the two's recruitment, Trapp, Finnerty, and Collodi; along with long time member Beatrix Monroe, and EONS scientist and fellow Candella member Jean Basar; Prefromed a circle pact under Lightkeeper Draven Kingsley and were forged into The Circle of Needle and Thread.
