Welcome
to the Shogren House Museum. Built in 1906, this graceful Arts and
Crafts style home is listed on the National Registry of Historic
Places. Sitting on more than an acre of manicured lawns and lush
gardens, the house is surrounded by a basalt stone wall and is
protected by 100 year old fir, linden, and beech trees.
Our
gracious home has been lovingly restored inside and out. When you visit
Shogren House, even though it's only ten minutes from downtown
Portland, you will feel as if you have been spirited away to a timeless
and beautiful retreat.
The
Shogren House is currently leased as a private residence. Private
and public events are not held at this time. Please enjoy the photos,
historic films and virtual tours available here on our website.
